Nicolas’ musicality is the culmination of talent and relentless work. Classically trained to AMEB Grade 7 but having flourished with a passion for contemporary and Jazz piano, he earned himself a scholarship entry to the VCA where he currently studies.
With knowledge, ability and patience beyond his years, Nicolas is capable of tutoring students of all ages and abilities.
Nicolas gigs regularly in Melbourne’s Jazz scene, and is a highly revered musician tipped to be a legend in years to come, despite his humble, approachable nature.
Katherine (Kat) Kalaitzidis
Kat has studied piano since the age of 4, and went on to complete her Bachelor of Music in Performance, Ethnomusicology and Composition at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Incredibly accomplished for her age, Katherine has over 10 years of teaching experience – she began guiding students through AMEB exams at just 15 years of age!
Kat has had extensive teaching experience via Rae’s Music and Michael Avery’s school of music in Hawthorn.
You can find Kat performing in a variety of classical and jazz based ensembles. She also composes her own music.
